BRIEF Self-Help instructions below
Once your CORES account is created, you will want to associate your new username, to your existing FRN (Federal Registration Number)
They know nothing about eachother quite yet.
Look for the option to
“Associate Username to your FRN”
You may have been prompted for your CORES account password, possibly also, your answer to a security question.
In the explaination area to associate your username to your FRN, indicate that you are the license holder for the FRN with your current call sign.
Most commonly, your account will be immediately linked. and you can now manage your FRN, using the account you are already logged into 🙂
Using your new FCC CORES account, and the ability to manage your FRN (and license), you can now renew!
